We at the Direct Group are proud to sponsor AFC Moorlands and would like to offer our “congratulations” to them after their triumphant 2-0 win against the favourites Robin Hood Rookery at Newcastle Town FC last week.

It was AFC Moorlands who lead after 22 minutes due to a header by Jack Clewes. Just 10 minutes remaining in the game and Adam Kent scored the final goal sealing the win.

It was felt that it was a well deserved victory after an excellent game played by both teams.
